DePaul Community Service Association is a community of DePaul student-led organizations seeking to promote the dignity of all beings by following the example of St. Vincent de Paul. New Student Service Day brings the newest members of the DePaul community together to work collaboratively in making a difference in the Chicago community. Hay Leadership Project advances the vision, values and leadership practices of St. Vincent de Paul in people and organizations worldwide. Community-based Service Learning was founded to integrate the service concept into the University's curricula. DePaul's commitment to service is part of its Vincentian, Catholic, and Urban Mission: to foster through higher education a deep respect for the dignity of all persons, especially the materially, culturally, and spiritually deprived; and to instill in its students a dedication of service to others.
