In-Service Program
On an annual basis, the Office of Mission and Values, offers a mission-themed inservice program to university constituencies. The purpose of this inservice is to select a topical and relevant theme that enables members of the university to explore some applied aspect of our mission and values.
2007-2008 In-Service Program
 What
do we mean by Catholic?
This year as part of the implementation efforts supporting Vision Twenty 12’s
proposed enhancement of the university’s Catholic identity, the Office
of Mission and Values and University Ministry are pleased to offer in-service
opportunities to faculty, staff, and administrators in all the schools, colleges,
academic affairs and operations areas of the university in which we will continue
our institutional conversation about the nature of DePaul’s Catholic
identity.
The in-service will normally last for 60 minutes and will include:
- A few opening
remarks from the facilitators on Catholic Higher Education
- A discussion
about DePaul University’s Catholic identity using the concept paper "DePaul
University's Catholic Identity and the Student Experience."
Facilitators:
Mark Laboe, Associate Vice
President for University Ministry
Fr.
Chris Robinson, C.M., Associate Director of University Ministry
Rev.
Craig Mousin, JD, Ombudsperson
Tom
Drexler, Assistant Vice President, Mission and Values
If you would like to arrange for your area or gather folks together in your
unit that you feel would benefit from such an in-service, please contact the
Office of Mission and Values and we will schedule and day and time that is
convenient.
