The interview focused on Sr. Pat's past 47 years as a Dughter of Charity, her present position at the United Nations, and the work of the Daughters of Charity around the world.

Episode 8:

Mary McGuinness, Lead Training Specialist - Human Resources, DePaul University.

The conversation focused on an article in the Vincentian Heritage called, "'There is Great Charity But...' Vincent de Paul and the Organization of Charity," by Thoman Fuechtmann, Ph.D. Mary also talked about Vincent de Paul as a leader and an organizer, as well as appreciative inquiry as an organizational developmental process.

The conversation focused on Deacon Smith’s extensive work in developing countries, as described in Seeds of Hope: Stories of Systemic Change, his leadership in the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, and the Society’s founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam.

The conversation focused on the special publication of Vincentian Heritage Journal Vol. 28, No. 2, 2008 titled What Would Vincent Do? Vincentian Higher Education and Poverty Reduction.

The discussion focused on the Catholic understanding of work, as articulated in Laborem Exercens, and how this perspective shapes a Catholic University’s self-understanding.

Fr. Guillermo Campuzano, C.M., Chaplain for Community Service in University Ministry at DePaul University.

An interview with Fr. Campuzano who has worked extensively in developing countries lecturing and teaching on formation. He advises the Chicago Archdiocesan project for Latino young people and helps other dioceses in the formation process of Latino leaders.

Rev. Mark Pranaitis, C.M., Ph.D.,associate provost for DePaul University and chair of DePaul University’s Board of Members (1999-present).

An interview with Fr. Pranaitis who earned a Ph.D. from Benedictine University in Organization Development and authored a dissertation entitled “Using Stewardship to Create a Virtuous Organizational Culture: Making the Case for Organizational Generosity.” The conversation began with a discussion of his article “Wherever your treasure lies, there also will your heart be,” Vincentian Heritage Journal vol 19, issue 1 (1998)
