PSerrano

Pedro Alonso Serrano is an undergraduate studying Psychology, Spanish, and Community Service Studies. Currently, he is a McNair Scholar, a Vincentian Mission Fellow. He is also a member of Psi Chi and Sigma Delta Pi. In the past he has been an America Reads Tutor, a Chicago Quarter Mentor, and a Midwest Community Campus Compact (M3C) Fellow.

Mr. Serrano’s research interests include sexual identity development, specifically gay and bisexual identity development among male adolescents, as well as ethnic identity development, specifically the bicultural/bilingual experience. He plans on attending graduate school for his PhD in Clinical-Community Psychology.

In his own words, “My dream is to become a professional researcher and clinician, so that I may apply the knowledge and skills I acquire to serve my community.”
