EGodoy

I am majoring in Digital Cinema with a concentration in film production. Throughout my years at DePaul I have become involved in many leadership activities, such as being an Orientation Leader and Coordinator, a S.T.A.R.S. Peer Mentor, a Chicago Quarter Mentor, the president of Ritmo Dembow, a McNair Scholar and the Volunteer Coordinator for the Jumpstart Program. With the many wonderful experiences I have had at DePaul, I can truly say that I have developed my academic and professional skills as well as defining my social and personal lifestyle. Along with developing the person I am today, I have learned a great deal of what it means to be a socially responsible leader. Because of this, I hope to further my education by pursuing a PhD in film studies, so that I can combine my love of filmmaking with historical research to portray a message that tells the stories of those who have no voice in the world.

As a Vincentian Mission Fellow I hope to use the knowledge I gain from the program to teach and transmit a positive and influential message that can promote social change within our systematic and political society.
