Grant Types

Catholic Identity
Projects rooted in Catholic perspectives that directly enhance and inform DePaul's Catholic identity through scholarly research, curricular and co-curricular programming, or artistic expression.

Community Service
Projects that provide direct service to populations most in need through either: 1) direct engagement; or 2) educational programming for the population being served or those serve the population in need (i.e. workshops, classes, peace and justice work, etc.). Projects ideally should involve DePaul students.

Diversity Initiative
Projects that seek to improve inter and/or intra-group relations via initiatives that inform and enhance consciousness and understanding among varying groups, including but not limited to race, ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, socio-economic status, and/or cultural background.

Legal Service
Projects that provide direct legal services to underserved populations or that provide educational programming regarding legal issues that primarily impact underserved populations. Projects ideally should involve DePaul students.

Service to Student Population
Projects that provide direct services, consonant with DePaul's Catholic, Vincentian, and Urban values, to the students of DePaul University. The proposed events should enhance student engagement in the life and mission of the university (these can either be new programs or augment services already provided).

University Ministry
Projects based out of the Office of University Ministry that promote and enhance DePaul's Vincentian, and Catholic identity or that support ecumenical, and other forms of spirituality for the DePaul Community.

Vincentian Heritage
Projects that focus on the legacy of Vincent de Paul, Louise de Marillac, and the broader Vincentian tradition including scholarly research, artistic expressions, spirituality and praxis.
